The shape of the Brown Betty Teapot causes the tea leaves to be gently swirled around when boiling water is added. They are made of red terra-cotta clay found only in Stoke-On-Trent in Straffordshire, England. Their special production method gives the pots and even thickness and smooth finish inside and out. They are finished with a Rockingham brown glaze.Brown Bettys are top rack dishwasher safe, but are not intended for use in a microwave or on a stove top.
