Il Mulino Chef Fernando Masci grew up in the mountainous countryside of Abruzzi-Molise in central Italy, and has never forgotten the dishes made by his mother and grandmother. Each year sun ripened produce and fragrant garden herbs would be transformed into pasta sauces and stored in the cool farm cellar. In this way, the family could relish the fresh flavors of summer even in the depths of winter. Fernando invites you to enjoy a sample of the Masci family tradition recreated from the finest available San Marzano Tomatoes, fresh garllic cloves, imported Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil and select spices including fresh basil leaves and oregano.
